do tell. did he have toilet cams or something? I didn't follow the gory details much after the initial story broke. Also, is this public info? How do you know about it?

Kiran Chawla article, ironically enough. Maybe this is the one of the quiet reasons she was removed from WAFB. Because the in the article she is still a WAFB author and this article is only available through the Lake Charles affiliate. Highly ironic that you can't find this detail from the local news affiliates where the case will be tried. And sloppy work by whoever was supposed to scrub this.
quote:
The judge did not believe there were any specific or credible threats made in a Facebook group called Livingston Rants and Raves. The judge also noted Curtin traveled on 14 cruises in the past two years and has a passport, which was a “concern.”
This is only found in one article and it was hard to find again. But this detail has been scrubbed from most of the articles you will find. Highly interesting and should be discussed among the public.
It's sad that the general public isn't seeing this fact more and I think it's the most interesting detail that is looked over in all local news outlets in the Baton Rouge area.
Why hasn't Nakamoto asked anything on this aspect?

I'm not directly answering your last two questions.
But I was informed on an alleged detail that he allegedly had a full security camera system installed in the house with cameras configured for each room. Cameras are centralized to an ethernet connection to where the backups are stored with this type of configuration of security cameras. This is common in how bars, businesses set up their cameras with an internet service provider. It is a very interesting detail to pin intent to distribute on him, because I don't know how he had that configured, nor do I have access to that info. But it shows that he definitely didn't want anyone to potentially snoop on his video feeds and depending on if he used a local backup or not(he probably did, if not, the ISP would have access to his material).
This is different from personal doorbell cameras because most of those are currently Wifi integrated to the best of my knowledge.
With this concept I have explained, I think it opens him up to more questioning on why did he take this type of network configuration for his camera system. I honestly wish I could interrogate him technically because his decisions are sketchy AF. And, decisions of initialization are intent.
What I've proposed on the security camera set up is a correlation and contrast explanation to normal security camera setups for private businesses and private homes. I cannot confirm nor deny that this is how he set up his cameras until more of the case information is made public.

Hopefully, the judge is educated on some of the dark web streams out there that sell access to this type of content. If not, then that's a shame to the state of Louisiana, because his actions of setting up those cameras in his house are clear intent to distribute actions.
shouldn't really matter.

Would he have had the ability to do that himself?
I would think most businesses & homes have that type of set up professionally installed.

I'm no expert by any means and have no direct knowledge of the case, but I do remember he ended up on the police radar because of a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited children.
I just assumed if the National Center group got involved and gave the tip to the police, that there was some kind of distribution of child p*rn that was linked back to him. Tracking back child p*rn videos shared amongst the predators online is typically how the Center gets involved and develops there tips.
Also remember when he was arrested while fishing on Toledo Bend, he threw his phone in the water. I also assume that's because he had a lot of evidence of child p*rn and its distribution on his phone.
Interesting on the Curtain lady info of her frequent trips to Mexico and I forgot the victim in her and Perkins case was an adult woman who was passed out. Perkins and his video voyeurism setup was what got them all busted.

This was the initial leak in late October 2019 before the story broke, that some in the LP civil service offices knew. So Apple does allow the National Center for Missing and Exploited children to have access to their mobile databases to perform image and video scans for this type of activity.
I think the initial video he took of him and his wife committing the main act for his prosecution was taken filmed with his Iphone and when it hit the iCloud servers is when he was done for. Definitely the first domino in the process of him being completely fricked.
This is why him throwing his phone in the water at Toledo Bend when he found out was the worst thing he could've done. The content was already linked to his phone from the iCloud server. To all the attorneys who think that is will be plausibly deniable is hilarious to me. That account will be linked to his credit card on the Iphone payment account.

Crazy info, I had no idea the Center for Exploited Children could access Iphone databases, but then again I'm not a child molester. However it happened I'm glad he got caught and I hope they catch more of these predators.
Your right, he's not going to have any way to deny it if that's how the tip was developed. I wouldn't want to be his defense attorney trying to work on behalf of this sicko.

Denny worked narcotics for many years so he knew a thing or two about setting up secure networks and he was already streaming amateur p*rn with his wife onto an adult website. The dark web stuff is conjecture. As of a few months ago, there wasn’t any other kid stuff on his computers other than what was covered in the court docs. If they were downloading or streaming stuff from the dark web, there would most likely be some evidence of that as everything points to him being the type of person that likes to hoard/keep mementos of all of his escapades.

It is a fantastic decision they made for the welfare of American children across the country.

The suspects have been arrested and are awaiting trial. I’d rather have this tried in a court of law at this point, rather than in the media and court of public opinion.
The media could do a better job investigating Ard and his connections to the case.

It is only conjectured if his virtual machines(if any) are not properly audited forensically. If i were involved in the case or was to audit the evidence, i would check his server logs on the virtual machines for SSH transfer actions. But that is just me.
I have wondered if this was done and how the DS Scoutmaster was caught a month later. Interesting that a lesser case happened right down the road a month after this broke.
This is why i'm worried that the right investigation is being performed on his evidence. With his status and knowledge of crime, he could still be hiding major evidence. The use of such applications in a virtual environment could also be interesting.
If he really knew what I allege he was doing and had access to said streams then he could still very well be hiding something.

There was a third arrest, Melanie Curtin. She got arrested disembarking from a cruise.
The Curtins matches the drapes, you reckon?
