She meets the Greatest of All Time.[at least in culinary terms.]Don't believe me?Just ask anyone from Africa and middle East.Went to a regional farmers’ show, hosted in our local park. Daughter # 3 was so animated seeing different animals for the first time. She kept shouting, “Haaa! look at that”. I didn't even know she could say that. There is no substitute for being present for your kids. In our house we call it - making memories. Gifts, money, presents…they are just not as good as being present. PS This not a post about personal finance. It’s post about time invested in being family.PPS Check out the “bell bottoms” on that champion co*ckerel.

I actually giggled at "greatest of all time" 😅While I am African, I sadly cannot attest to a goat actually being THE Goat in my belly. 🤣 I mostly only eat chicken and fish.I do agree with you though that being present is so important.I get to spend weeks at a time at a time with my parents and It's such a privilege to1. have them alive and in close proximity to me so I can spend time with them2. have the ability to take time off and just BE with them without having to ask anyone for permission to do so.money, gifts, stuff... don't matter. It really is just the ability to spend time with the people we care about that is most important because they and we won't be around forever.

LinkedIn success isn’t just for influencers. Here's how you can thrive as financial advise. it might take some time to feel confident.Initially when sharing posts on LinkedIn:-> You feel your insights are unimportant-> You worry about being judged by clients-> You struggle with feelings of inadequacy-> You are concerned about peers' opinions-> You doubt the impact of your contributionsAs you refine your content on LinkedIn:-> You overlook peers' opinions-> You trust in your own expertise-> You discover your insights are valuable-> You observe your abilities inspire others-> You disregard criticism and concentrate on helping clientsWhen you achieve recognition on LinkedIn:-> You view criticism as a motivator for improvement-> You gain profound professional respect-> Others recognize the value you deliver-> You are acclaimed for your expertise-> You become a trusted adviserAll those initial worries? They are now concerns of your criticsThey will inquire “Can you assist me to start?”Here's precisely how you should reply: by sincerely aiding them. The only difference between a successful adviser and "the critic" one embarked and became proficient (while the other just observed and critiqued).P.S. Remember this: you can excel in promoting your services on LinkedIn more than you initially thought.………………………………………………………………………………….Hi! 4 surprising tax advantages of pensions (and how it impacts your bottom line) Pensions are so misunderstood. Apparently, they don’t give much. Here is how much you can be wrong. 1. You get tax-free growth in your savings. - Your savings in your pension grow tax-free. - This boosts how quickly your pension grows. - Because you are not getting taxed on the growth. 2. You get tax refunds on what you save. - This is how pensions beat traditional savings. - Tax that would have gone to the government. - Instead gets paid back into your pension (bonus). - 20p in every £1 (more for higher rate taxpayers). 3. You want your savings to grow quicker. - Tax refunds will supercharge growth in your savings. - That is like a 25% bonus on everything you save. - Boosting the growth of your money. 4. You get a tax-free lump sum when you retire.- 25% (a quarter) of all your savings can be taken tax-free.Want to improve your savings growth? Give pensions a shot. The tax advantages alone give an edge in long-term saving.PS. Real estate (property) is your thing. Did you know you can buy commercial property using your pension?PPS. ignoring pensions is leaving a lot of money on the table.………………………………………………………………………………….Hi! Cut your risk of losing your money (in stocks) by 94%.A common stock market problem:- For 2024 no one can precisely predict if the stock market will be:- up 20%, flat 0%, or down 20%Here is an example of the 3 years history of the 500 largest companies in the US.+29% in 2021 (up)-18% in 2022 (down)+26% in 2023 (up)1 year forward 1 year back. But look back over 10 years. ↳ The yearly average has been +13%.Look back 98 years. ↳The yearly average has been +12%.Stock market history shows that the longer you stay invested, the higher the chance of making money (not losing money). Capital Group crunched 94 years of stock market numbers. The results show that:↳After 3 years you have a 12% chance of losing money↳After 10 years you only have a 6% chance of losing money. That's how you make sure you never lose money. Invest for the long term.PS The chart below is from Slick Charts

60% of UK retirees will run out of money. My 5-step framework to help you avoid becoming one of them. The financial stress of coming short.Comes from a lack of planning [ well before retirement]TWO critical questions were never answered:↳ How much money do I need upfront to fund the life I want?↳ How can I leverage what I have coming in to secure this?I spent 6 months coaching a friend with 15+ years to retirement. He was making good money and wanted to start investing more.5 STEPS I USED TO GUIDE MY FRIEND.Step 1: -> We thought in detail about his current lifestyle.-> And the things that mattered to him.Step 2:-> We put real numbers to the cost of the life he lived now.-> And projected the cost of the lifestyle he wanted to live in retirement.Step 3:-> We took what he was saving and investing regularly.-> And based on this, projected how much he might have when he retires. Step 4:-> We compared the cost of the lifestyle he wanted.-> Against the savings, he will accumulate at his current savings rate. And he got it.He quickly understood how there was a mismatch. ↳ Between how much he was saving now.↳ And how much the future lifestyle he wanted would cost.He would have run out of money in the first 10 years of retirement.Step 5:-> He was able to revise areas he was overspending on.-> To increase his savings rate NOW.-> Without giving up on enjoying life today.Over to you.Securing your financial future is a matter of planning. Not just chasing more money [without a plan].PS. Have you ever asked yourself this question: “How much money do I need upfront to live comfortably how I want”.

Break the 45-year pay cheque cycle. Don’t get stuck in the ‘life is a rehearsal mode’. Why wait until 65 (retirement) to do all the things you love. And risk living with regret in your remain years [ for what you missed] It is time to turn the tables. Life fulfilment begins now. [Not at 65] But an action plan for the freedom you want. Having a financial plan:-> Gives you absolute focus. -> freedom to do more things today. -> Confidence you will not wreck your financial future. [no matter what] ……………………………………… PS. What is on your list of things for a fulfilling? Drop your thoughts in the comments section below. 👇

I blew my IG account trading penny stocks. But learnt 3 timeless lessons why most day traders lose money.Didn’t expect to lose ALL mu money. But it was a “contained” experiment during the 2021 Covid lockdown.Everything I knew about long-term investing was useless for day trading. Great companies of the world... blah! blah! 🤔 MY TOP 3 TAKEAWAYS FROM DAY TRADING1. You Need Big Money to Make Money Big money traders aim for a small profit on each trade. And these small gains compound over time. You my friend want to 2x your small account. In a single trade. For example:Making a 5% profit on £100,000 (£5,000) in a single tradeIs a lot easier than trying to double £2,500.Under pressure, you blindly take risk. 2. Man vs MachineYou are competing against trading bots that make cold blooded decisions. Your biggest obstacle: your emotional swings↳ You “want in” when you see a stock going up, ↳ And “want out” when you see a stock dropping.↳ Your losses hurt more than your gainsTechniques will not save you from these mood swings. 3. The House Always Wins. They make money when you are winning. They make money when you are losing. The discounts and commission free trades are bait. The fees and commission will eat your profits. BONUS LESSONYou must be ready to blow your account [several times].And stay enthusiastic.Losing £800 in an experiment was enough for me.........................................................Remember:Stock trading ≠ Long term investing.99% of day traders lose money. But there has never been a better time to be a Long term investor.........................................................PS Would I do it again? Nah! It’s more fun hanging out with the slack chain brigade.

99% of people researching investing online worry about 2 things: -> Not having enough money [running out].-> Losing moneyYet some financial advisers' number 1 call card with new clients:-> Minimum investable assets £100,000+.Here is a strange thing.A lack of money is often not the issue with these people. The real issue is often anxiety and fear because of a lack of: -> Focus -> Direction -> An action plan. A road map to the life they want. There is a disconnect between what people need. And what some financial advisers offer.Way too much selling of portfolios, and products. Not enough problem-solving.PS.
