With many people venturing to Devon and Cornwall this bank holiday Monday - and subsequent school half-term holidays - they'll no doubt be keeping their eyes to the sky to check up on the weather. Like the earlier part of this bank Holiday weekend, there will be a mixture of sunny spells, showers and heavy rain in places across the South West.
The Met Office have dubbed it a 'typical springtime mix'. Its Met Office 's deputy chief meteorologist, Dan Harris, said: "The outlook for bank holiday Monday is for brighter, cooler and breezier conditions with scattered showers for England and Wales at first, but a steady drying trend from the west is likely.
