I get to do a lot of cool and impactful things at work in addition to the impactful work of responsible and #ethicalAI. One of those is engaging the next generation. In partnership with our Academic Advocacy team and the Black Employee Network (BEN) Tech community, I recently had the chance to speak with 82 students from 14 colleges and universities in the DMV area, including Bowie State University and Howard University, at our Cloud Connect event.The students were eager to learn and get hands-on experience with the cloud and #generativeAI. I was able to emphasize the critical importance of addressing the risks and challenges around AI to build responsible and inclusive AI systems. Most importantly, I stressed the immense value in having their diverse voices and perspectives shape the future of this transformative technology.I'm grateful for the chance to partner with our teammate, colleagues, internal communities and academic institutions to cultivate the next generation of #responsibleAI leaders. The 2024 Stanford AI Index Report is now available. It's a comprehensive study highlighting advancement, trends and challenges with the apron of AI. Additionally, it's a reminder that we must be intentional in design, development and use to address risks. The impact of AI in the Middle East will be substantial. They are projected to generate $320B in economic value from AI by 2030. Leading the way in AI contribution is Saudi Arabia. So, it's no surprise that Fast Company Middle East included discussions on #genAI in their World Changing Ideas Summit 2023. No discussion about the immense opportunity with AI is complete without exploration into #ethicalai concerns. It was good to address #responsibleai and guardrails that build #trust with some of my peers, Toby Walsh, Lyric Jain, and John C. Havens, leading efforts in this space.

🎤 Mic drop! This is how to cap off the year. After being named one of top 100 people influencing AI in October, Business Insider named me one of the top 15 people in Enterprise AI!
